TESTIMONIALS I would like to thank Loria for all her help on selecting and designing window treatments for our recently remodeled home in South Naperville. She was the only designer that I spoke with over a period of several months that listened to what we had in mind for our window treatments. We really wanted simple treatments that had a new look and a classic feel, but not too heavy to block the natural sunlight on our new windows. Her designs were exactly what we had in mind and the fabrics looked great with the other fabrics in the room. Her expertise was extremely helpful during the process, because I was not familiar with current window treatment trends or fashions. The treatments all look so fabulous and really tie the room space together now. We recently remodeled many of the rooms in our home and needed many window treatments to go with the new look. Loria was the not the first person I had talked to about doing the work, but she was the only designer who listened to me and came up with designs I wanted. Her interior design help in pulling together the window treatments, accent pillows, artwork and floral arrangements was almost the best part of working with her. I was thrilled when she pulled two beautiful pictures from Nona Jo's to bring to the house that looked perfect in the family room. I have never had a designer that has been so responsive, organized, and gone the extra mile for me. I really appreciate everything she did to help with paint color, selection of fabric, treatment design, and selecting home accents. I have really enjoyed working with her for many months, but not just because she does wonderful work, but because she is able to make her clients feel like they are the most important client she has. That is something that is hard to find anymore. I look forward to working with her on a few more projects
and telling all my friends about her business and her work. Working with her has
helped me see that it is the little details that make all the difference.
I want to thank Loria for the beautiful transformation of
my kitchen. I'm in awe of how she captured my style and spirit. I'm incredibly
happy with the results and cannot wait to continue with the rest of the
house. When she came for the installation she wanted me to be surprised and have
everything set perfectly before I walked through the door. I not only loved the
experience of working creatively with her...I now consider her a friend. The Naperville Garden Club had chosen my house to be on the
annual "Cup of Cheer" house walk. Due to construction delays and a family
illness, my house was not decorated at all yet. In 4 months, 1500 people would
be walking through my house, and I felt completely overwhelmed. Enter
Loria!! Her outstanding work, reasonable prices, fantastic ideas, and
unbelievable efficiency were beyond my expectations. The entire house
(including the basement theater room, 3rd floor, and a bonus room) was
completely decorated and ready for the house walk. It looked absolutely
beautiful! I highly recommend Loria -- you will be very happy with the
results and have a great time working with her too! Loria's expertise has helped us to design the "grown up" Master Bedroom Suite
that we have always dreamed of. She not only created beautiful window
treatments, but she helped us to pick colors, accessories, furniture, and
everything else you could think of! She even shopped for us. (Something we hate
to do!) We loved what she did so much that we had her help spice up our powder
room and change the nursery into a "big kids' room". My experience with Loria was great! I've done several rooms with Sew Simple
Designs and every time Loria helped me select the right fabrics, coordinate
colors and choose styles that work in the room and compliment the rest of the
house. Her attention to detail in things such as trims, piping and pleats was
very evident. She spent as much time with me as I needed and, when redecorating
my daughter's room, even consulted with her to make her feel a part of the

Kitchen. Your quality workmanship, attention to detail and timeliness are
amazing. My favorite is the window seat; it is exactly what I wanted. I will
recommend your services to family and friends. Loria Hartman is a very creative,
organized and reliable businesswoman. Her designs are not only
beautiful but personal. She listens to what you want and creates the designs
you have requested down to the smallest detail. I had a lot of straight
lines in my built-in bookcases. Loria suggested softening the lines by
inside mounting soft/relaxed roman shades into 6 of the windows in the
living room of my "arts and crafts" style home. We also added pillows
in coordinating fabrics and trims to compliment the decor and tie in the
fabrics of the custom window treatments. In the bathroom we banded and
tassel trimmed a flat roman shade with a scalloped bottom. Sew Simple
Designs will make your house into the home you have been imagining. I would highly recommend Loria
Hartman and Sew Simple Designs. I absolutely love the window treatments she
designed for my kitchen -- the end product was even more beautiful and suited
for my space than I had hoped! Loria has a great eye for design, color and a
customer's personal style. She is also very creative, always coming up with new
ideas to make her designs more personal and unique for the customer. Loria is
also very professional, timely and friendly -- making the whole experience even
